has just completed a new Manufacturing Facility for AppliedBiosystems Group, Inc (NYSE:ABI) in Bedford MA.SPEC's engineers and architects designed and constructed the greenfieldproject to accommodate Applied Biosystem's manufacturing line which wasmoved from Cambridge, MA in the late spring of 2003.This project provides Applied Biosystems with the ability to manufacturemultiple batches and comply with customer and regulatory agencydocumentation requirements.The project highlights include:
a.. 30,000 sq. ft. single story high bay base building including 5,000sq.ft. constructed to meet high hazard classification and an additional9,000 sq.
ft. of Equipment Penthouse, and space for office and QA/QCfunctions.
